Holiday Message:

12/22/16

Brethren,

On behalf of our Grand Master Most Worshipful Jeffery M.Williamson and my family,I extend holiday greetings to all 434 members of this First Kings Masonic district and your families.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanza and New Year!

This year was rough for many brothers of our district.Nonetheless,as freemasons we stuck together under the bond of the brotherhood and made 2016 end well.As we continue to partake in this

festive season of sharing, giving, and reflecting,I kindly ask that we keep our sick and shut in brothers and family members in your prayers.I encourage the welfare of our brothers to be a strong focus in this district for the year 2017.

Lastly brethren, be responsible for your actions.Do not take for granted the gifts bestowed upon us by the Great Architect of the Universe. Let "A way of Life" in this district be such where men from near and far, would want to visit or become members of our district .

I look forward to being with many of you on Christmas Day at the VA Hospital in Brooklyn.

All the best for the New Year!

Brethren,

The 236th annual communication of our Grand Lodge which took place on May 1 and 2nd 2017 has officially closed at 2:45pm on May 2nd 2017.This marks the end of the 2016-2017 Masonic calendar. What a quick and eventful year it was especially in the First Kings district.

Today, myself and many other brothers in the First Kings district witnessed the Installation of our Grand Master MW Jeffery M. Williamson, in which solidifies a new Masonic year has begun. Allowing us to continue work we have started and set out to do more good and square work in the quarries of Freemasonry. This year we started to build our lodge's with close to a total of 6 new Master Masons.

The 7 delegates each lodge sent to represent your voice in Grand Lodge, voted to secure and standards and morals for the lodge, district and jurisdiction. Motions from the Grand Lodge caused for some changes to be made this year. You will hear about them as your delegate reports back to your lodge. Our District represents a total of 24 votes in Grand lodge. One of change of great significance is the nomination, election and installation of our new Deputy Grand Master RW William Sardone. We too in this district will have our own changes as we elect our new officers for the ensuing year. Proudly three lodge's will have first time Worshipful Masters. I look forward to working with ALL of you and I know we will accomplish more together.

Between now and the end of June, I will be seeing many of you during elections and installation both tyled and public. I garner your continued support as I serve as your District Deputy Grand Master for the 2017-2018 Masonic year.

God bless you all and this First Kings District of ours.
